when people say both punisher movies i take it they mean the Dolph Lundgren one and the 2004 one not punisher: warzone which in my opinion is actually really rather good.... i've not read the comic but i'm putting in the guess is that this was probably the closest to it... ultra violent bitter and bleak

Well I thought it was better than daredevil. Flamey skulls, pointing and leathers.

Mind you, I missed the beginning, was hideously drunk and fell asleep.

the extended vertion of daredevil had some good moments ... and all the stuff when he was a kid was good

If it had good moments then why did they leave them out of the original cut where there wasn't any?

God I hate that film. Elektra?? I didn't get more than five minutes into her film.

i have no idea... i just downloaded it


also in regards to elektra i have never seen more than about 5 min of that film at any one time ... it reminded me of xena but with out the wit, charm or talent it was a bad film poorly made

As far as I know, it got them a lower rating in the cinemas, and, as everybody knows, comic books should be for kids! After that, the theatrical cut tends to get distributed, hence the shit versions on Sky, etc.

Quite the opposite. Just seeing this thread and thinking about the first hour of Ghost Rider made me want to see Batman & Robin again. At least it had Arnie's cheesy "Ice to see you" lines.

Barring the special effects, the whole film could have been made in the 70s.

What grated was the flame CGI wasn't that bad...but the skull itself looked terrible.

The film itself was terrible...even with Sam Elliot, Peter Fonda and Eva Mendes being in it
