I've had a generation-4 Totyota Celica GTi-16 for 13 years. I have put 120k miles on it, with only services and normal wear and tear parts. Stupidly reliable cars (and looks good too IMO).

AFAIK the Type R will only be available as a 3 door.

Though it wouldn't matter much. The beauty of the new Civic is that the 5 door looks like a 3 door. Every time I've given a ride to a friend they instictively head for the front door as they can't spot the rear ones

I wish you could import their space bikes and the tiny big vans that you see running sown the narrow narrow streets.

The space bikes are everywhere but I have nvere seen onw in the uk.

My little brother is jap car nuts. hes just imported a 2006 Honda Intergra DC5 Type R. Its had a few mods. Some engine work taking it from 220 to 260 BHp ( Fuck me ) including 340mm 6 pot Brembo's. Revs to 9800. Its fucking wild. Gives my Corrado VR6 a slap in the face.
