God, the last time I was there the Nevis Sport cafe was awful. The seasoned climber I was with said it had gone waaaaay downhole and wistfully remembered the glory days. Cakes were crap.

I live in Oban, and it can be gorgeous down here, and still be pissing down in FW, even the snow is shite now. I only go up there now to do some rock climbing in Glen Nevis or just to pass through to somewhere else.

i have spent quite a bit stuck in that cafe in bad weather. at least the outdoor book section next to it is top notch
