Getting Run Over in Brixton

"Media type" is a shorthand for clueless/loaded/fool.

Help me out here. Please explain to me how this bonkers woman cyclist represents Brixton.

The junction of Atlantic Rd and Brixton Rd is also dodgy for people turning left illegally into pedestrians crossing on the green man.

How well signed are the banned turns. Not trying to defend anyone here, but if it has happened regularly, does the road layout need looking at?

Well having met Hendo I would definitely say he's neither clueless or a fool. As for being loaded, I don't know his personal financial circumstances but I would guess that he is more "loaded" than some and less "loaded" than others ... either way I don't think he deserves to be run over for it.

There does seem to be quite a bit of inverted snobbery around who lives in Brixton. I like Brixton because there is such a wide range of people living here.

Yep, Brixton is rising up and showing her will through cuntish BMW drivers and madwomen on bikes...

Not sure if I'm bonkers but you always have to check before cycling through the junction at the Dogstar even if its green

Last time I got cut up - someone running a red light out of a side-street onto Oxford Street - as usual I whacked the bonnet with the side of my fist.

As usual, I'd forgotten first to check who was driving.

This time, it was a short woman looking scared. Tough. She was still doing something stupid while in charge a ton-and-a-half of lethal metal.

It does scare the shit out of drivers - not only does it break them out of their cosy illusion of separation from the world inside their surrogate womb, it raises for a moment the fear of blood, hospitals, police, rocketing insurance, courts, disqualification, unemployment, starvation, their kids' mates laughing at them... which is the point.

Because they all know they've done wrong as soon as that thwunk brings them back to paying some fucking attention.

But I do recommend checking who the driver is first - because short male drivers tend to try to take retaliatory action against those who make them afraid :(

you are clearly psycotic and should be locked up... any one vent that much aggression into the real world is one or two steps away from beign killed by 'taking' on the wrong person... good luck with that...

isn't that inciment to criminal damage there ...
Yes. That's exactly what it is. I'm inciting Hendo to go back to that corner and wait around - for weeks if necessary - for the same driver to come around the corner recklessly and then he can writhe all over his bonnet, just like I've incited him to.

 x 1,000

seems like you are implying that some one who thankfully wasn't injured should make up false alligations cause damage to someone else's property in order to cause them harm on the basis of a isunderstanding which thankfully resolved itself with out incident... seems like a rather aggressive outlook on life... not to mention a foolish one... do you react in that manner to all things which might have happened but didn't...

Yes! My post contained all that! That's exactly what I meant!

 x off the scale.

Get a life for fuck's sake and leave the fantasy fiction to decent writers.

One of the most important things to get over to reckless drivers is that when there is a near-miss due to their stupidity, it's not OK just because nobody was hurt - it's not OK because somebody might have been very badly hurt indeed.

one of the things to get over to wannabe vigilanties is that people make mistakes and taring everyone with a prejudiced brush is not conclusive to living a life with out needless confrontation...

you, the editor, infact no one but hendo can say if the driver was genuinely aware that they had done summit wrong indeed from the info hendo has posted it appeared in the first instance that the driver wasn't aware of the no turn ... when this was point out in hendos own words the driver back tracked...

either way going around constantly paranoid about what might have happened and obbsessing over the what if's is hardly sensible behaviour... sounds like the impotent trying to call out how big their dick is to me...

Rarely have I seen someone so utterly desperate to spoil for a fight as you are in this thread.

Get over yourself.

nothign to get over, tbh, though it's odd you consistantly think there is... stop beign such a wallflower ...

you made a comment about how some one uninjuryed should fuck up some one else's property (perhaps in jest) and you got called on it as being symptomatic of an aggressive and not very sensible manner in which to resolve a situation which could have many possible outcomes most of which would result in hendo not posting today or spending time eatting hosptial food or conversly sending some one who made an error to nick based on nothing more than a bit of a vengful personality trait... or a bit of laugh ...

and this is me spoiling for a fight ... whose the one suggesting that they fuck some one else over in a disproptionat reaction to an action again... oh that'll be you... don't mug me up with your standards... they are far to tight round the arse for me ...

They point, Monsieur Le Chat, is to get this over to the driver. Not necessarily to you.
but that poitn was gotten over to the driver at the time when they 'back tracked'

why you have to make the point to an anynoimous person from and anynoimous person about an anyoimous person is beyond me tbh ....

Well, no you weren't. You were suggesting he feign injury and damage the car's bonnet. Weren't you? Or was it a joke?

Because we were discussing how, in general, incidents such as this might best be handled.
