I met a very sweet Alsatian puppy yesterday. Sort of gangly, very friendly and well .... nice

Oh don't worry about him, he has been posting "x is shit" all over the place and it looks like he is now having an enforced break from urban. I was blessed with a random and out of nowhere "Skyrim is shit" post on my Skyrim thread in the gaming forum, so it's probably actually nothing to do with either puppies or computer games (out of the two, puppies are infinitely and without question cuter, but much more expensive in upkeep.)

Any chance you could explain why one of the threads he decided to do it on was my thread in the farflung corner of urban where no-one ever goes? I don't expect you to do that btw, but it's all very well for you to get a PM and be all understanding, when I've just been caught in the crossfire with absolutely no blooming idea why!

(also a bit worried about why someone might go off on one like that tbh, hope everything is OK)

I don't think he targeted particular threads as it seemed a scattergun approach. All you could see on the thread list in the early hours were posts saying shit. So it's nothing to do with this specific one. I obviously can't disclose anything he told me in a PQ on the boards.

he is about half the size and weight he should be but is getting there. Hes VERY active and playful. Our girls have become his new favourite thing in the whole world and Lucy (our blind girl) has really surprised us by being the one who is playing with him most.

I really cant thank Gail and Bruce at Fife Rottie Rescue enough for doing what they did for him.

Just googled black Bichon and found bichon noir pics.
They are the cutest looking puppies ever...lol...
A mix of bichon and toy poodle...and must be at least 90% black.

Someone in Cheshire had a breeder ad online for last year.....maybe they'll have a litter this year too?

I know ain't they?! I've got two cats so need a pup that can socialise. These seem the best option, plus they are just too cute!

I really wouldn't advise getting a puppy off a site like Pets4Homes. If you do, make sure you meet the breeder and the dogs several times, maybe arrive without an appointment to make sure the puppies really are living in the family home and not bred in a puppy farm.

Absolutely you can get puppies from rescue centres. They tend not to hang around though.
