Colleague got this yesterday.
Could you ask them which torrent site they downloaded it from? One would presume "they" are watching torrent sites, would be intersting to see which site's users they're after.

I didnt know that was an option - how do you mean, encryption switched on?Or more likely : People start using BitTorrent with encrption switched on...

Man, I bet s/he has a fan clubThing is, the ... .. and go for Axxo movie downloads

a LOT of people think that Axxo is Plod.

Not only that, but they'd be responsible for any that they didn't report. That was part of their "common carrier" suit years ago when someone tried to sue Demon Internet for having dodgy shit on its newsserver. If isp's could track the content of what goes through their lines, there'd be no child porn online.
I had one sent out, a few years back. It was because I was sharing one particular movie out of 200-300.... bastards. Not even a compliment on the rest of my collection. They'll have done it because they were contacted by a copyright holder. Emails like this have been being sent out for years - a friend of mine got one in 2005, and it had no further consequences.

but don't let that stop you slandering one of the hardest working torrent uploaders up there with your half truths which simply banging in aXXo into google would have corrected...

you gone Smiley blind or wot?
as fer Google Inc...it's out there...I dids read in PRINT...not on teh Nets....and I didn't say NISH about work for the Govt.. I said...but obviously not accurately for your likings...THEY ARE WORKING ON SOMETHING FOR THE ISPs.
hearsay is not slander.![]()
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bittorrent_encryption . Get a client that does it and ISP's can peek into your downloads...![]()
SO it sounds like Azureus has it inbuilt - do you need to tweak your settings for it to work?
Google Inc are up to something to "help" ISPs identifying individuals...
i advise every one to watch steal this film parts 1 and two in fact i'll stick them up on my server for people to download
a LOT of people think that Axxo is Plod.

And surely the point ist that "ISP's can't peek into your downloads.", non?
They're all over youtube and google videos no point in uploading them is there?

I am, well, I review scene releases a day or two before they're released onto private torrents.

The good private sites are zero hour these days.
What, you're going to be kicked off your ISP for using the wrong port? BitTorrent is a legitimate form of distribution used for plenty of legitimate things. If you can't tell what's in the packets, you can't do anything about it.yeah right i mean it's not as thoguht hey can see the call requests and where the packets are going to from your machine or coming back in from i mean that wold be pizxie magic and amazing man... oh wait they can...
encryption... my arse...
