oh oh, i just hear that the pre play havoc in germany has already commenced. one car in the east of germany drove into an italian ice cream parlour. no casualties luckily.

that is not good.

italians in germany are the most best integrated foreign population group. however football is the point where the friendship finishes. for both sides.

i hope everybody will behave themselves. apparantly there is a mad atmosphere already. plus it is so hot. beckenbauer and mac donalds and mastercard have apparantly quickly shot a film about peace and harmony for tonights game and how delicious those pizzas are whatever will happen which is on the telly on all channels now non stop. :confused:

i am not so sure myself yet but have to admit that there is somewhat a slim chance...if there wasn't another team called france...:mad: even more though.
 
i just can't see this train running out of steam, nothing can stop them now. although i admit that both italy, but especially, france could mean trouble. but no, im totally siegessicher :D

No, he's been suspended.

I'm beginning to be influenced by the sheer numbers of people predicting Italy. I'm not convinced they have as good progression power as people say, but the arguments about their solid defence do make some sense ....

I had Germany as fairly straightforward winners originally, but from last night I've been starting to go with 1-1 after 120 minutes, with Germany to shade it on penalties.

Remember that Italy have not met opponents anywhere near as strong as Germany so far.

I think they have a couple of gears left to go through and will raise their game as appropriate. *hopes*

Also, i think some people dip into the odd Italian game, and they don't tend to look that comfortable in the short term. A controlling, possession game that hits on the break isn't always that pretty to watch.

Its a tight call, but i'm confident :cool:

I'm surprised by the number of people vouching for Italia though, William.
 
at 8 darling.

after all that talking...i will be at work until 21.45 anyway and miss it...good, that will save me of getting a heart attack. my excitment is getting progressingly worse during this WC. :rolleyes:
