I suggest you do some background reading on how a CDU government came to power in the state of Hessen about 6 yars ago, what the CDU government inthe state of Baden-Würtemburg is doing now with regards to "integration tests". The ideas coming from conservative politicians to ban the languages other than German in school playgrounds, to ban immigrants from watching non German TV in their own homes...............

There is a point about the fact that the DDR didn't really de-nazify, not that the BRD did much either tbh, where do you think the RAF came from? Deutsche Reichsbahn sticks out but IIRC that was more to do with the legalities of winding up the old railway administration and then the name stuck.
