Aged 94 George Bush Senior dies at the age of 94
Can someone post the footage if him puking on the Japanese pm?
Good start to the day
This belongs on the satisfying news thread
Thoughts and prayers....
Compared to the current incumbent this one seems quite sane.
It's come to something that we can feel almost nostalgic for the mad old fucker. He called Trump a 'blowhard' and would do nothing to support him. Prescient.
Only one Bush? Suppose it's a start.
Wake up it's a beautiful morning
I think this was the year everyone gave up picking him for the death pool as well.
Most people thought he died years ago
As has been said, compared to the evil orange clown he wasn't so bad but that's a pretty low bar. I'm glad Bill Clinton made him a 1 termer. He did Iraq war I but thankfully didn't conquer Iraq. His invasion of Panama was not a good thing.
It's an illusion. An evil man from start to finish. The only tragedy about his death is its lateness.
Also a documented sex pest as well as mass murderer etc.
Maybe every bit as evil as Trump but surely something more recognisably 'normal'. He didn't barricade himself in the White House when Clinton won, which I predict Trump will.
The sensible face of untramelled global hegemony.
I dont think Trump wrote that for some reason
We must be in a proper fucking state right now if we think a Bush president was better than anyone before or after - but we do because Bush senior seems to be the third worst in modern history, the second being his fucking bastard son.
Does anyone know if we're going to get some good news about wubbleyou Bush in the near future, terminal cancer or something?
Questions to find out:
Is it in caps lock?
Is it full of spelling mistakes?
Are there loads of exclamation marks?
Does it mention any special councils?
Does it insult anyone?
If none of the above, Trump didn't write it.
Not remember Reagan then? Or Nixon?
Wasn't he head of C & A or something.
I would say for an American president he wasn't so bad. His Iraq war ended in a few weeks, he was nice to Russia when they fell apart and he was critical of the second iraq war when his kid was in power.
He also managed to stop Reagan being too excessive when he was VP
You missed out:
"Does he end up making it all about himself?"
He was a distinguished torpedo bomber pilot in the Pacific in World War II and had enough integrity to oppose Trump, shame about the 72 years in between.
