George Galloway campaign bus just gone up the Hill

He got stuck outside The Albert in traffic on saturday afternoon. As it was such a nice day there were a lot of people outside to abuse him

good to see you reserve the kind of abuse for minor politicians that most of you would never give to the people actually responsible for the state of the country.

Communalism of the type expounded by Respect and the BNP must be stamped out for the sake of the future.

because the future with just the parties of war and neo-liberalism is gonna just fucking wicked

If you want to see a racially and religiously divided UK political system then come out and say that because that is what you get when you line up behind divisive parties such as the bnp and the galloway mob.

That isn't really what they said though is it.

They said, why insult Galloway when no one seems to take the time out to do this to the politicians that are actually responsible for shit. Galloway is just a self-agrandising tit capable of changing nothing in our society.

1 Kid pretends to sneeze and wipes it on Cameron.

Yet everyone else stood around like tools letting the prick spout his bullshit unheeded.

Yet Cameron is far more likely to cause this country huge amounts of damage with his conservative views, yet no cunt wants to say boo to him.

Lets face it, the only reason people say shit to Galloway is because he is here, in the muck with the rest of us. When was the last time you all saw Cameron busing around your areas looking for your votes suffering your abuse?

I can't stand Galloway I think he is a tosser, but I wouldn't shout names at him in the street, I would reserve that priviledge for Brown and Cameron.

:hmm:

I'll presume by that you mean that what you want to see is a political system dedicating to arms dealing, war and attacking the poor?

nail on the head.

What, you reckon that if Gordon Brown went past on a campaign bus, or anywhere accessible, he wouldn't get abuse shouted at him by the same people shouting at Galloway?

no, he wouldn't.

Wanna bet? I for instance detest Galloway for the reasons I've given amongst others but Brown I would abuse for other reasons. For example: 'wheres our fucking money gone Gordon? It certainly isnt going on rebuilding the country like it should have done'

BTW, I just noticed this post is in the Brixton forum. First I've heard that Brixton is part of Central East London (where he's standing).

Why do you think that? I'm absolutely certain that the same people would shout Gordon Brown down (presuming they think he's bad, of course), given the chance.

because they're mostly tossers like Keybordjockey who wet themselves at the nearest authority figure then think they're hard doling out abuse to small political parties

I dole out abuse to Brown as well as I stated earlier. The reason why I attack Galloway vociferously is becuase I can see the danger in having politics dividing on the grounds of race and religion which is what both Galloway and the BNP promote.

If you look back at my posts you will see that I'm constantly criticising the authoritarians.

You said "I would", the evidence of this is pretty sparse. Best stick to shouting abuse at essentially powerless people as the drive away on their bus, huh?

Powerless don't make me fucking laugh and don't make Galloway seem like some sort of martyr.

The main 'achievement' of Galloway and Respect has been to legitimise in many peoples minds the idea of people voting on racial and religious lines and blocs. This has encouraged the bnp to do the same and because of Galoway's actions by proclaiming Respect 'the party for muslims' etc etc has emboldened the bnp to have a more receptive audience amongst excluded whites by claiming that the bnp is a party for 'people like you'.

Galloway is a dangerous fucker who is making tense times and community divisions worse.

Boris is only a fraction of the danger that Galloway and the other fash pose to our communities.

It would make an interesting equation wouldn't it, balancing chances of being elected to any position of any merit vs the damage they would do in that position.

I truly believe that GG's chances of being elected to any position that actually got to make decisions to be negliible, though I would agree the damage he would do is massive.

Boris' damage would be less, it would still be considerable though, and he stands a realistic chance of being elected to a position of power.

I think I would have to say I believe Boris to be the bigger danger.

So Boris will piss off a few people contrast that with what Livingstone and Respect are doing which is approaching unelected 'community leaders' promising them power and influence and prioritising funding requests in exchange for getting the vote out.

The result of that is that all those outside these politically favoured groups start to feel resentful especially if they see resources draining from their own communities and perciving that the 'left' has abandoned them start to be vunerable to the siren voices of the extreme right.

In some areas Respect are known as 'that P**i party'. For a party like Respect that is seen to only favour one group to have an MP in parliament is
just as divisive as having a bnp MP. Its not a healthy political situation to have parties getting votes solely from one communty or another with no crossover. It was such a great sucess as a policy in Ulster wasn't it .

I'm up for giving a political kicking to both types of fash, the Galloway version and the Nick Griffin version.

well, if Galloway ever became mayor (or gained any other high political office/power), that would assume he had escaped his current demographic and created a significant base among all communities. So the, "if he ever gained power" argument is nonsense.

Meanwhile, BJ represents a party that spent 20+ years systematically attacking the poor in every way they could. But he doesn't get abuse of KJ, he's get a vote.

Fash like Galloway and the BNP rely on there being a low turnout so that only the votes of their motivated supporters count.

And NL isn't attacking the poor and the struggling. I suggest that you open a few newspapers or find another source of information if you think that NL is any better.

The priority is to remove a corrupt, authoritarian mayor from city hall. Sadly voting Boris is the only way to do it.

C'mon see some sense and join me in Boris's Rainbow Coalition ;)

politics for 3 year olds. Stuff I don't like = fascism. Must have missed the bit in his manifesto about a 1,000 year Reich.

Yawn.

Both bnp and Respect have built up support basically in discrete ethnic and religious groups. Looks like the sort of exclusionary politics that leads to fascism and dischord to me.

hey, I'm not the muppet voting for any of these wankers.

how hard is it to use the term fascism in a precise way? Rather than making cheap analogies to stand in place of actual arguments?
