I myself are one of those who are anti-theist.. Not agnostic.. not A-theist.. completely and utterly anti-theist.. Many of a religious point of view would say my views are anti their view.. does that make me racist against Jews... catholics.. muslims.. christians.. all religions.. generally.. Not for me and my POV.. but for them it makes me anti- whatever they are..
I don't give a shit what religion anyone is.. I don't believe any of it.. Does that automaticallyt make me a threat because I think those with theist beliefs are actually living their lives.. based in my opinion.. on a load of bollocks..
Should I be censured with the penalty of not being allowed to have an opinion and barred from freedom of speech and travel through communities because of my opinions..
The consensus of the thread seems to be yes. I'm puzzled by this, but if people wan to be all fluffy and inclusive about religious bollocks whose adhrants beleive are the work of a devine will that also fashioned the stars, than so be it. What can you do, beleive they should all be rounded up and sent to concentration camps for the god-stupid? Or retain your own humanity and put up with the stupid ass-parcels that people insist on beleiving so long as murders, assualt, coercian, insightment etc are punished for being murder, assualt, coercian, insightment etc whenever they occur.
Anyway I watched an interview by Wilders, and found him tolerant of the same arrogant shite that the bible and talmud is full of, therefore fuck him, he's a hypocrite and the charges laid at him; that he's just using the firey emtions of anti-islamism (specificaly that) for his own agenda are probably true.
If you seriously stand against religious forces having a right to impose themselves on society, it should make no dfifference to you whever that religion wears a burka, a kippah, a turban or a dog-collar.
Just sad that the koran, bible, talmud and no doubt loads of other literature whose followers do not accpt were authored by anyone other than 'God' in tall the talk of genocide, slavery, domestic violence, patriarchy and so on will continue to go unchallenged, because people who should know better evaluate it as they would political or philosophical literature that nobody denies was written by fallable, changeable, imperfect human beings.
Personally I think it should be illegal for anyone to claim knowledge of the thoughts, will or desires of a non-human intelligence without scientific, verifiable proof of the existance of said intelligence, specially when the alleged intelligence has been saying shit about how people should live their lives and relate to one another. Like you can't release pharmeceuticals onto the market without rigorous testing. Oh well, perhaps in a more perfect world.
