However Galloway is explicitly in favour of faith schools. On the "This is London" website he states he is in favour of religious schooling and adds
"Faith schools are full precisely because parents prefer a moral compass in their children's education - and quite right too".
Ofcourse this runs contrary to the standard leftwing principle of secular education but it also supports the segregation of children along racial and religious grounds.
