Galloway on sky news this morning

Maybe you're right, just it gets a little tedious reading people complain about Urban and doing little or nothing about it.

Well he is doing something about it by commenting, no?

The thing is Neva when Galloway does a rant on the middle east he is 9 times out of 10 correct, he has been accused of telling lies and taking money from Sadam for example for years yet not one of his accusers has been able to nail him. Ok so he has a tendancy to shout over the interviewer, so what? he is clearly frustrated by the bullshit and feels he has to shout to get his point accross and terrorism is terrorism whether it is a suicide bomber or a lazer guided missile fired from 3 miles above ground, i think you will find he condems both. Like i said earlier the UK needs more Galloways.
Also, most people can't comprehend why Israel are terrorists because most people believe what they read in their papers and hear on the news, you never hear about State Terrorism because that is too close to the bone for the majority, terrorists are the bad guys and we are not the bad guys

He is often correct yes and a lot of the stuff he said in that interview needed to be said, his mentioning about the bias in Sky News, the differences between Israeli attacks and Hezbollah attacks and the issue of America supporting Israel versus Iran supporting Lebanon were all good points. But on the other hand some of the stuff he was coming out with was factually inaccurate which is really inexcusable and as for being balanced he called Israel a terrorist state and said Hezbollah was national resistance and definitely not a terrorist organisation. I mean what the hell.

This in essence is my problem with Galloway. In this interview he comes out and says things that are untrue and inflammatory and in doing so he polarises debate instead of encouraging it. Imo the only way the situation in the middle east can get resolved is if people make sacrifices and move away from entrenched views towards a negotiable middle ground. What Galloway does encourages partisanship nonsense and in doing so makes such moves that little bit harder. His support for Hezbollah is as bad as Bush’s speeches that defend Israel and what I would like to see both these men do, like every politician in the western world should do, is publicly come out and tell both sides to shut the fuck up and sit down. Bush should be making speeches criticing Israel and Galloway should be saying the Hezbollah are in the wrong with their attacks. Instead we have them cheerleading on the violence like kids in a playground yelling ‘fight, fight, fight’ and why? I strongely doubt Galloway actually believes that Hezbollah are a shining light defending freedom and I find it equally hard to believe that Bush thinks Israel's invasion of Lebanon was the best move to make. I think they do it because Galloway likes being patted on the back for his anti-Imperialist line and because Bush knows defending Israel is in the best interests of America. Cunts the pair of them.

Personally I think Georgie boy has done more to alienate moderates from the Palestinian/Lebanese cause than any other commentator.

Fuck I just wrote a bit post trying to say this when you'd already said it. Exactly right imo.

Anyway yeah. That's my opinion of the interview. As always fun discussing things with you guys.

I am sure the Nazis saw the resistance in Nazi occupied Europe as terrorists, we called them freedom fighters.

So what exactly did he say that was wrong I MEAN WHAT THE HELL?
You've agreed it seems with everything he said as right, but yet he's still lying, I MEAN WHAT THE HELL?
