, well not so much crew these days but am I'm contact with most of themThis chimes with my recent experience at a club night where Dj Producer did an 8 hr set, starting with earlier stuff and finishing with 'future hardcore'. I was really looking forward to the end but actually found it a bit meh and characterised by hardstyle type kicks...Feel free to flame me, but I still reckon gabber is a lot more tuneful than new skool hardcore...
Haa we supported Skat Injector in a room above a pub in croydon, in like 2008. There were about 10 people there. They were totally great. Think ive still got their cdr somewhereErrr, not so sure about this (yet)...& I'm sure DJ Scorpio etc would have something to say about it being new/fresh.
An Introduction to Extratone: The World’s Fastest Music Genre
I think the entire scene is composed of about 5 people globally.
Well I'm a dabbler really but there are different styles (and there are also people out there who will have arguments about whether speedcore/doomcore/gabber are the same thing...).
If I was to pick a couple I like:
As for ones I don't like - I don't like the ones that have that sort of 'boink' drum sound on them but I can't bring any good examples to mind!
It's music for mixes though really rather than individual tunes. Someone like DJ Producer would be a good start (again someone will probably say he's not gabber but meh). I'd also really recommend some of the early DJ/Rupture mixes for examples of how it can be worked into other styles - Minesweeper Suite is a classic IMO which touches on it for a few tunes.
I do remember some weird gabba dudes I knew, they made some banging tunes, but they were called "Shitspitters" so I'm gonna let someone else Google that![]()
This probably ain't the thread for you thenMust say I really do not like gabba had a bad expeieriance a few
years back, went to a rave in Rotterdam 12 arenas 11 gabba
its like happy hardcore on tons of speed still makes me shudder
at the thought of it![]()

Yes yes this night was banging again. What is good about gabba nights is it is 100% no poseurs, if you are there then you are properly into the music, so there is a real old school rave atmosphere.set times for Ravers Graveyard:
