GA - "sexy! no no no"

I don't know where I stand with my musical tastes, I love joni mitchell, so therefore I must like serious music. but I also love girls aloud

it's a quandry ain't it tanky. :(

i too think that one furthest right (and no, i sadly don't know their names), is trying for the Victoria Beckham look.

sorry milesy but i do.

hit me now. :)

ouch!

you cunt.

i keep thinking i'm going to get the IT mafia bursting through the door (hup hup stylee!) to frog-march me off to the 'powers that be' type people every time i write a word like that from my work computer.

it never happens. :(

anyway, Girl's Aloud.

they're ok, for that kind of plastic pop identikit girlie type rubbish i suppose.

:)

They are absolutely peerless in terms of pop bands, and with very few rivals currently across all musical forms. This song is pretty good, but not quite up to the standards of "No Good Advice", "Love Machine" or "Something Kida Oooh", three of the greatest singles of my lifetime.

Agree about Nicola being bullied to the back in that photo. It also demonstrates that Kim is the only one who wouldn't snap in half in bed.

"sexy! no no no" more like yes yes yes!!

When I read that piece of copy in the Sun I thought of Alan Partridge, now I'm thinking Dennis Pennis... :D

Hmmm now let's not let our excitement affect our spelling, eh? :D

See they're still putting the least photogenic one at the back. Does she have a footballer boyfriend? And is he a goalie?

It was more of a mistype. I would dare spell the holy songs deliberately wrong. It'd be like like calling him Geeesus Kryst. :)

they're not "still" doing anything of the sort (and by least photogenic i assume you mean nicola) - she's not always put at the back at all. do a google image search for girls aloud and you'll see. you will. :)

how exiciting. accoring to people on the GA website forum the video is now out and haas been spotted on The Hits. but i am not at home to watch it :( so i'm hoping that someone manages to get it up on youtube soon

"a valuable insight into milesy's life"

I haven't really heard this yet - sort of half heard it a party last sat but I didn't realise until half way through and I was tired and emotional anyway.

Got The Boy to find it on the intermaweb last night though so am eagerly awaiting to go home listen and check out the vid on youtube.

Have heard nothing but good stuff though. And tbh GA never disappoint me (unless of course we're talking ballards which with the exception of Life Got Cold they should avoid)

I'm of course talking in my opinion, which has been mocked many times. They do have rivals in my eyes, but they tend to be from very disparate genres and styles making them difficult to compare directly. I really like pop music and as they're so incredibly good at pop music it seems only fair to consider them as high-ranking purveyors of music regardless of style.

i heard this on t'radio and thought - oooh i like this!

didn't realise it was them girls you like, milesy.

i then thought, well blow me down, they're not too bad after all!

i may not be a lover, but i'm no means a hater.

aces, cheers you excellent pony!! i love it and i haven't finished the first listen yet  i'm glad it's not an a-million-miles-an-hour type thing like "sexy!" or "something kinda ooh!" - laidback but still with energy. very nice
