Futon or sofa-bed?

The cheap ikea futon sofas have quite light mattresses that you don't have to do all that turning/plumping faff with. We have one and like it. Though i would get the slightly more expensive mattress, will last better. This one: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S19817493

This is what we've had for 15+ years. For occasional use for a few nights on the floor (i.e. *no* wooden thingy) it's just perfect. Honest.
