Fucking essay cheating plagiaristic c-ntitude

I wonder if plagiarism is the reason for the increased number of group projects in university courses? At least, they seem to be a lot more common now than they used to be. It would be harder to plagiarise group work than individual work - everyone would have to agree to it.

But all I hear about group projects is complaints about the group getting one member to do all the work for them.

Which would equip N-1 members only for management, not for actual work

Yup, that's what I hear too. Or most people working wth one slacker pulling them down. You couldn't guarantee that one member would do all the work, that it'd be you and that none of the people in your group would guess what was going on and dob you in, so it would be difficult for plagiarism.

But that's a kind of plaigarism, isn't it?

Thinks...

Yes, management is itself, entirely, plaigarism.

(D'oh - that'd be extraction of surplus value :) )

Can you please tell me what feminism has to do with course work vs exams?

Not sarcasm by the way, I'm just interested in your reasoning. :)
Once upon a time boys did consistently better than girls across the board academically. Now they don't. Do you think that the move away from an exam based system is coincidental? That it wasn't planned?

eta: scifisam got there first

There is a connection - girls (I say girls because I've only read about it for school pupils) tend, overall, to do far better at coursework than they do at exams. This is particularly the case for multiple choice exams. I'm too tired to remember why, but whatever the reasoning, the statistics (passing or failing exams vs. coursework) were hard to argue with.

Of course, some topics are dealt with much better by coursework than by exam, so there are good reasons for having at least some coursework in all subjects.

I suspect its the reason behind things like presentations too. Two of my final year modules involve a 20 minute presentation which needs to be acompanied by slides and speakers notes which are properly referenced like an essay. part of the mark consists of how well you ask and answer questions as a speaker and as an audience member
I suspect its because you cannot possibly buy in that sort of knowledge in a subject and by Y3/4 of a degree you should be asking/answering pretty taxing questions if you know your subject well enough

Yeah, though I'd say he plan wasn't to make boys do comparatively worse, it was to give girls a chance of doing better. There were other reasons for having coursework as well as exams, of course - it wasn't just feminism. And it's not just the change in course assessment that's made girls do better at school.

I was looking for some essays online, but my search terms swamped me with no end of cunts offering essay writing services. Dear Jesus, how fucking wrong is this? I may not be very good at essays, in fact I am rather crap but I'd rather scrape a D than buy an A.

Really disgusts me tbh. Those writing custom essays for people to hand in should kill themselves, fuck them for facilitating the process of people who can afford it gaining qualifications.

Just hand in your OP. Perfect stuff for an A. :D

Thinking about it, if you just use a degree as a token to rip more money out of a business, then you could be justified in using your entire maintenance loan to just buy all your work :) It's all just playing the system against itself, and not just a tool for the rich.
