This is completely straight up. Im not on a wind up here.

Im still good friends with one of my ex's father. They are a very wealthy family. She now lives in the US with her mum who is divorced from her old man. Hes now living in France. I was speaking on phone to him earlier and we got onto the subject of cars. He mentioned about getting his "weekend car" shipped out to France but is reluctant to have it towed or driven over by a stranger. Jokingly i said "i'll drive it over to you if you pay for juice and a cheap flight back to the UK" to which he said "what a great idea. im sure youll enjoy the drive over and ill get my car over here without hassle". Of course ill enjoy it.

You'll never guess what it is....

Nice one, I've driven one on a trackday and they are fucking awesome bits of kit.

Do you know if it's a manual, or the flappy paddle thing?

Saw Rod Stewart driving a sky blue 07 plated convertible one of those at the weekend.

Used to see him a lot when I lived in Epping, driving his Enzo too.

Nice one dirtysanta, make sure you get loads of piccies. :D

Awww, you're gonna be driving a little yellow car.

That's really sweet. :)

Its going to get very militant among my mates. Naturally they are all going to want to come. However, I expect i probably take the missus and go to Paris for dinner and the lads will end up coating me off down the pub :D

The on I drove was the flappy paddle version, which was perfect for the track, but I imagine would be pretty horrid on the road...

it'll be the flappy paddle i'd imagine rather than the gear stick which are easy enough to use if you learn a car and you're not clarkson the gimp...
