fried Eggs

A plate right-way-up over the frying pan works fine :) You can then butter your toast on the plate and it stays warm as the eggs cook!
The toast/dippy egg syncronisation is one of the hardest parts of the perfect fried chuckie to achieve, and there must be toast and of course it must be hot and buttery ! I like the way you think subversplat, gonna try this one out tomorrow (and burn my fingertips off at the same time)

Duck eggs are alright, but only once in a while. They're a bit too much for regular eggary.

Lightweight  :D

I think Madzone is just trying to wind me up, surely everyone loves duck eggs ;)

All our eggs are fertile.

I'd like to like duck eggs but I can't bear them. Can't eat duck meat either. It tastes like their poo smells :(

Ducks lay unfertilised eggs through the season just like chickens do. It's all waste protein and aminos at the end of the day :)

Yeah I know the biology of it all but I didnt realise folk ate them, have you tried them and if so what do they taste like?:)

Just like a souped up egg tbh. Their taste is a bit more extreme to my palate, others say they're too strong for theirs. Most supermarkets carry free range duck eggs for ~ £1.80 per half dozen, but a farmers market would be a better bet, a local farm ideal :D Not many of those around Wapping though :(

Ah right so its egg taste x10 in the strength stakes, sounds a bit shady to me but i will have to give one a try.:)

I think you have to have a few months off eating eggs when you find those snotty blood bits at least it gives you time to forget about it before you try another one:)
