Freeview Recommendations

Yeah, well, you support Spurs and take Smash Hits seriously, I'm glad we disagree
Actually I've never bought Smash Hits and it stopped being published a few weeks ago. However Channel 4 haven't taken upon themselves to fill several hours a week of schedualing with repeated coverage of the now defunct work which anyone who might be interested in it would have on DVD anyway.

Re. Freeview, it also enables you to watch daily highlights on ITV2 each summer of the world's biggest annual sporting event, the Tour De France and live coverage at the weekends, rather than the solitary hour a week of highlights which ITV relegates to the early hours.

More4 sundays at 9: Father Ted followed by Curb Your Enthusaism

BBC3 Tuesdays at 10.30 Ideal: comedy with Johhny Vegas as a dope dealer. Apart from that BBC3 is a bit rubbish: the channel where you're never more than an hour away from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

You think Snuff Box was influenced by Seinfeld?!!? Or Friends?

(I'm thinking the latter.)
Stavros thinks everything is a rip off of Seinfeld, even stuff which it has nothing in common with.

Not true. I merely think Friends is and am utterly and totally disgusted with how it gets flogged to death several times over in the UK and Seinfeld never got the chance it so deserved. Friends is the only show I've ever said ripped off Seinfeld; a group of moderately-successful 20/30 somethings in New York City go about their lives with most of the action taking place in an apartment or the local cafe. Not hard to put two and two together.

I highly doubt there's anything that good on, but does anyone have any programme recommendations for freeview channels? Since I got my box last night, I seem to have been glued to Beauty and the Geek
BBC Three and BBC Four have some really great stuff from time to time. BBC News24 is useful if you miss the news. E4 and E4+1 have some cool music videos in the morning.

Freeview also gets you 1xtra and BBC6 Music radio channels.

Here's a pretty good TV listings site: http://www.onthebox.com

There was a very bizarre cartoon sketch show on BBC3 on Monday night called Cubby Couch.Very similar to Monkey Dust.Featured a jealous hamster among other things.Fantastic stuff.

I was looking forward to it, but we seemingly don't get it here.
