fred perry shirts

You could probably buy 5 plain t-shirts to be worn over 5 contrasting long-sleeve-T's for the same price and that would still look good :)

It's not so much the cut of the cloth, but the cut of the jib under the cloth :D
i know that, you buy your 3 for a fiver for week's work and then you have your best fred perry/ben sherman ready for the weekend innit? like me. am off out in my best black number. and i ain't no poncey wanker thank you very much :)

Fred Perry polos were something I wore as a kid. I think they were £11.

I never realised how much they were until the teenager was looking at them. The classic one's are nice still but £50 thats silly prices. Everything else FP make is shit too.

I wonder if The Specials reunion increased sales noticably, I reckon every fifth person at Manchester had a new FP polo on.

Kind of always wanted a Fred Perry, never got round to it/dared...prefer Penguin really...BUT

I really, REALLY like this. What do we think? It's new, not "classic" though it looks good to me. Opinions?

go for it. IMO the FP polos fit better than the penguin ones, and the collars aren't as big (so therefore better)

Yeah, and it doesn't appear to be slim fit - despite losing a stone I'm still (and prolly never will be) slim, so a bit of generosity across the shoulders and more importantly belly might be useful. Love the colour, and I think also cos it IS slightly different from perhaps the gestalt twin tipped FP

(I've got an old school Penguin on right now, btw, and it's proper comfy now I'm thinner than I was, but yeah, the collars are fucking massive :D )

Gant fit me best. I find that if you wear the buttons undone (as you should) on FP polos the plaque still stays closed and looks weird.

Copying their originals. FP polos originally had 3 buttons, even went up to 4 (I had a few of both :D), so perhaps they're doing a bit of a retro style marketing/sales pitch.
