You are probably right. Still, with three games to go Scotland are above the most recent World Cup finalists (plus the Ukraine). Perhaps when the next World Cup draw is made we'll get a group that will be less of a fucking mountain to climb.

Aye, under Walter, and now under Eck, the ranking has got back to a decent level. After beating France yet-a-fucking-gain we'll probably end up about 20-ish in the world. That should ensure a reasonable draw for the next World Cup qualifiers.
