Fowler back at Anfield.

What Sunray said.

Robbie was never quick. He's obviously less quick at the moment but he's still got a lethal left foot. Playing again for a club he loves and never wanted to leave is going to put a nice little spring in his step. He's 30 now so if Sheringham is anything to go by he has another 10 years left in him. Staying injury free will be his biggest challenge.

I happen to be making one of my rare appearances at Anfield on Weds for the Brum game so will be well chuffed if he comes on for the last 20 mins. If he scores there may even be a tear shed.

Welcome home Robbie lad.

The second coming indeed. He's deffo got the passion, and it was obviously noted that he scored a cracker against the mancs whereas Cisse thought he was playing rugby. Now we just need Owen back at a knock-down price at the end of the season. This could be great - go ed Robbie lad!

a dog returning to his vomit. Wonder what his exploited tenants think? Rent strike, anyone? :D
We'll at least he doesn't piss his wages up the wall like those two tarts you've still got playing up front. Beatty and Scurvyson tsss.
Can't wait for your next big purchase  under Moyse the top shopper :D

Bob rejoins Reds. What do Citeh fans think, what to Red fans think?

I'm happy.

It's a no lose gamble for us. It's a 3 month contract - he's taken a pay cut.

Our attackers look a little toothless. It's a good deal imo.

Let's hope he knocks the Mancs out of the cup and what price a Fowler winner in Gay Paris on the 25th May....

That would be something. :)

incredible that leeds are still paying, indicative of the total disaster that rinsdale regime was...

£10,000 a week 'til august 2006. He's quite probably still our third-highest earner after Kelly and Bakke. Cheers Pete.

Ah ha ha ha...the team that reckons they can catch Chelsea unveil their secret weapon - a 30-year-old has-been :D

Yep...except he's there to support our main goalscorer, who unlike anyone you've got is actually putting the ball in the net.

Eto'o has scored as many goals as Gerard, Crouch, Garcia and Cisse combined ;) :D

Until you buy a decent striker you;re not goign to challenge Chelsea.

Totally agree with that last statement.

Unfortunately Crouch is seen as our main striker by Benitez - he just isn't our main goal scorer :( . Liverpool don't have much money, hence the free transfer of Fowler. Defoe is being strongly linked, possibly with Cisse going the other way. Maybe in the summer? Whatever comes of that Cisse will have to be sold before we spend big on another striker.

Liverpool tried to hijack Eto'o when owen left for Madrid. Pity. He's pretty much the best striker around right now.

How do you rate Victor from Deportivo who nearly went to Liverpool this week?

But Chelsea get plenty of goals, evenly split among 3-4 players. Liverpool, it's either a Gerard thunderbolt, an Alonso special or nowt.

I still think Cisse is a good striker, but he needs a run in the team to build confidence. His performances in France were something else....pace, power, a great first touch. Bit like Diouf really - must be a curse.

Victor...average striker. Not a patch on Forlan, Tristan, Villa, Raul Tamudo or Nihat.

Fuck, the offical site has been exploding with 'Robbie' fever ever since. All gonna look a little foolish if he never gets a game, a distinct possibility.

Everton were involved in a drawn bout last night. Their veteran ex-con striker was asked to leave the ring after just 7 minutes for punching an opponent below the belt. Anger management classes have been dismissed as 'a waste of time'.

Better than whatever shower of shite it is has the misfortune to be blighted by your 'support'.

Really? So where are Everton in the Premiership? How are their chances of European footie next season? :p

Pile of frigging shite.
