Fair fucks to the Windies' batsmen over the last two Tests, absolutely brilliant efforts. Even flat tracks don't prevent daft errors and that, takes concentration to bat for so long. There's life out there yet

Not bad at all. I was first annoyrd with the number of catches that the Windies spilled in England's first innings, a feeling of frustration not helped by that series of dodgy umpiring decisions that saw the iikes of Chanderpaul and Gayle go under highly dubious circumstances. To get over 700 was a huge achievement and poke in the eye for England

If it wasn't certain suicide to say so, I'd say Strauss is getting on top of Taylor here. He leans back to cut a short one behind square for a muscley four and then flicks the over-corrector away fine for a strolled single.
