Forthcoming movies you're eagerly awaiting

I don't think I've been to the cinema since the Before Times, these days I tend to wait until something comes to streaming which is only usually a few weeks after it comes to the cinema and then I steal it.
Those of you who have followed my performance on the Framed thread will have twigged on I'm not a great movie aficionado and only tend to watch big budget blockbuster movies that I am quite happy to admit are long on effects, loud noises and explosions and short on plot. I don't care either I like films where all works out in the end, the good guys triumph and the hero gets the girl (and even the other way round).
Youngest Q and her Boyfriend went to watch Thor Love and Thunder a week or so ago and she tells me it is the sort of mindless movie I would love. I reckon it will be steaming end of August so I have made a note in my diary to try and nick it then.

Anyone who likes the Jordan Peele movies should check out "Them" on Amazon Prime. Similar vibes to his output with a bit of AHS into the mix.

I wasn’t eagerly awaiting this film until literally three minutes ago, since I wasn’t even aware of its existence let alone know what’s about. But I just went on IMDB to check some shit out and saw a trailer featured for The Menu. Looks good and glossy and has several actors I bloody love, so this is now added to my ‘eagerly looking for’ list

I rather enjoyed Knives Out, so have been looking forward to its sequel, Glass Onion. More so now that initial reviews seem to be very favourable :)

I like to add promising upcoming movies to my bookmarks so I don't end up missing them when they're released. Here's a cpouple I have at the moment. I usually find them by checking the future plans of actors that I like, but there are probably better ways:

Armageddon Time - biopic of the director's childhood in New York in the 1980s. He's played by the promising young Banks Repeta, while Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong play his parents, and Anthony Hopkins his Grandfather. Expected Oct 2022.

Killers of the Flower Moon - It'll be interesting seeing Leonardo DiCaprio and Jesse Plemmons work together. Something to do with J. Edgar Hoover and an FBI investigation into murders on a Native American reservation. Expected Nov 2022

What are you looking forward to?

Nine months later the first was disappointing and the second is due in May.
