Im getting a bit sick of ITV constantly going on about Hamilton.

There is no doubt that the he is very very tallented but they are really banging on about him, especially James Allen. I think he's a little lucky as well I wonder how well he would have done if he made his debut in last year's McLaren.

Sorry that's rubbish. Nothing to do with luck, he's a class act. He's out driven his double world champion team mate and held off Raikonnen for two races when the Ferrari is clearly a better car.

3rd and 2nd on tracks you've never even been to before suggests he's a pure racer. As did his GP2 season last year - watch the highlights on youtube from Istanbul. He span, finished lap 1 dead last and ended up second at the end.

As for ITV - their commentary gets worse every year....and they need to go on about Hamilton because Button isn't doing much

Missed the race due to pub lunch in the sun but no major surprises I guess. Hamilton is pretty solid isn't he?

Yep - it's not the pace, pretty much any of the top 10 drivers could bang in a quick lap, it's his consistency to do it. He's in danger of being over-hyped but F1 is so insular that when a breath of fresh air comes along it's talked about more than usual.
