I'm trying to lay of the OS itself, because I haven't had a chance to have a proper go with it and even the law of averages says they might get one right soon. :D

But that link is supposed to be the KEY reasons for IT pros to consider a switch...

Would any IT pros here seriously consider an upgrade based on that?

It's written purely for know-nothing budget holders, and as such, it's bollocks.
 
I can't see any need to upgrage, until xp stops running stuff which I need which can't see for quite a few years yet. It's been the first Microsoft OS I've been happy with, although I still use the old school grey look and 3.1 style explorer window, but the beefed up start menu was a nice touch.

BTW anyone know how to create a shortcut to a folder so that it opens with the "folders" view for exploring on the left hand side.
