If you tell me where toby gave me any kind of answer that I should have taken seriously then I won't take the mick out of you.

I think the line "You might get 25miles to the gallon lightly loaded or 15 miles to the gallon loaded to the maximum" was the answer you were looking for. If his answer was a bit pessimistic then at least you end up saving money in the end compared to the estimate.

As usual, toby's answer seems to be based on unsubstatiated speculation rather than actual experience or example.

2 other people on this thread have sucessfully managed to easily grasp the nature of the request and have all provided information that is consistant and born out of actually having directly driven these vehicles.

If toby does have this wealth of knowledge and experience with "light vans and comercial vehicles" then why doesn't he post up some useful examples of using them - just like the other posters have?

Now do you have anything to add MikeMcc? or are you just going to stand aroud twiddling your oar.
