They played on the same flank for that Everton team.

The other Gary Stevens at the same time as Everton's Gary Stevens was the tottenham player. They were both in the same squad for the 86 world cup. T Steven and G Stevens played to gether for everton, rangers and England.

I knew there were three Paul Williams but on checking it, there are actually 4! who were all active in league football at once. The middle two are particularly interesting because they played for Stockport County at the same time and amazingly, the mother of Paul Williams no3 is a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Wow! E2a - she was the woman who said this! "Right now, I would love to kill George Bush.... I don't know how I ever got a Nobel Peace Prize, because when I see children die the anger in me is just beyond belief. It's our duty as human beings, whatever age we are, to become the protectors of human life." Who'd have though Paul Williams no3 had such an interesting mum?
