Football scum on public transport.

Is that a "yes, I am wishface"?
It's exasperation at the lameness of someone with nothing better to do than that. But by all means continue to infer what you like. Seems to me that's all your good for since that's all you've done.

You're very good at twisting what people say, aren't you. Why is that? You've spent this entire thread getting bent out of shape because you cannot tolerate a different opinion - a quality that would make running a forum rather difficult I would think. Your attitude's a joke my friend.

There's none so blind as those who will not see.

I am a Cardiff City supporter, if I go out for a drink in Swansea tonight and get into fight with a local who is a Swansea City supporter if this football related violence?

Seemed pretty clear to me too, but...

There's a footie pitch behind my house where the local team plays; little league football. Every weekend we get to listen to the sort of language that, if it were in the middle of Tescoes, would get you carted out quick smart. Screaming blokes effing and blinding. In fact there's even a notice on their clubhouse warning them of racist abuse (I'm guessing between players/fans since there are no people from other races living here). Welcome to the 21st century.

What I dont understand is that some pople here seem to be unable to seperate football and life generally. A group of guys smash up a club, they are football supporters, but that does not necessarily mean that the violence was football related!

I'm still trying to find the actual football connection.

Lets see - Its the eve of a fairly big match & a crowd of known football-related animals (Known as a "team" BTW) go on the piss & descend on an unconnected location, a few yards inside the match zone (different rules apply, remember) to meet-up with another "team" (prop opposing) kick-off with all & sundry & trash the place.

Fairly normal pre-match behaviour IME & the police seem to have no problem treating it as football-related. The only real problem is that their response to football violence is pisspoor. :(

Depends - If you use your team rivalries as an excuse to start the fight, then yes. Otherwise, maybe not.

You sure they are known as a "team"? In all my years of following football I have never heard of "teams" of hooligans!

Are you for real. Two people have a fight and just because they happen to support rival teams it maybe football related. On that basis everything that is bad in the worrld is probably down to football fans.

Tony Blair supports Newcastle, invades Iraq, Iraq is football related violence.

The world had better watch out as Obama is a well known West Ham fan and you know what nutters they are!!!!

I've never had any positive experiences from football fans; I don't call being called a cunt by a group of complete strangers clearly wound up 'their' team lost, a positive experience. Would you?

So why were you talking about taking into account other people's experiences, when clearly you're only basing your judgments on your own experiences?

l.Two people have a fight and juts beacuse they happen to support rival teams it maybe football related

Depends - Sometimes the teiggers are pretty subtle & IME in the absence of other wankerey, something football is often one of like the colour of clothing - eg when I was involved in fighting off a crowd of parents at a schools football match. Our kids were in green uniform, which is utterly linked with catholic teams & a red rag to fans on the other side of the sectarian divide.

I was only there to make-up the staff/pupil supervision numbers BTW & decidedly unchuffed about getting dragged into a football fight.

No thats NOT a football fight, thats a fight triggered by religious bigotry. You obviously go thru life attemptinmg to link everything to football! FFS

Lets see - football is the main outlet for bigotry IME, to the point where they are now almost indivisible. And this was a football match in the true-blue protestant heartlands.

So it played a significant part.

This is also why we get the likes of the BNP standing for election here - our own homegrown fash cannot drag themselves off the terraces long enough to organise any semblance of a political party - & its not for the wont of them threatening to do so!

For some reason it appears you think the rules don't apply to you and you're free to post under two different IDs, if you so wish.

Had you apologised for breaking the rules or offered a polite explanation when originally asked, that would have been fine, but instead you've dished out aggressive insults instead.

So it's a 24 hr ban for you.

That's pretty much all he does, even when people are trying to help him. The guy has got some serious anger issues.

Is that true? (the bit about Obama being a West Ham fan, not the bit about West Ham fans being mental, obviously. ;) ) How did that happen?

Osama bin Laden's an Arsenal fan.

So, in summary - Awesome Wells/wishface is a bellend and pogofish conflates issues of bigotry specific to Scotland with an entire sport followed by millions around the world.

Top thread :D

Oh, and the experiences of several people on this thread who go to football matches most weeks aren't as valid as the above pair of loonies because we're football scum so we would say that.

Fantastic :)

Can I just congratulate Doggy here please?

He hasn't managed a 25-pager for a while, top stuff sir

proof positive that you can write any old shite and get a reaction on here. I left him out of my last post or two given that I assumed he was trolling all along.
