Food that doesn't require chewing.

I've been eating that smash stuff but after a couple of days, the smell of it now makes me feel a bit queasy.
I'm not surprised! Proper mash is what you need, loads of butter, salt and pepper. :)

loads of different veg purée well - apart from the spud I mean
celeriac, sweet potato, carrot, swede, peas(frozen ones are fine - squish them up with butter and some fresh mint)

Xanadu's idea for aubergines is a good one - try roasting then scooping out the flesh and then purée with yoghurt and/or tahini ...

Hummus and other similar bean and pulse based stuff ...

and when you get bored of mashed potato try adding olive oil or mustard to vary the flavour ..

wen i first got my tongue pierced i used to eat tuna mixed up with mash. It sounds minging but was actually quite tasty :)

You could try the traditional tuna bake we used to make when we were students (I'm working on the basis that if you're eating smash, you're not much of a cook ;) ).

Fry some onions until soft and translucent and then mix them up with a can of tuna and a can of concentrated mushroom soup. We used to mix it with rice and then crush a packet of crisps on the top but you might want to leave those bits out

In some cultures it's customary for the mother or grandmother of an infant to chew food and then regurgitate it for the toothless sprog to eat.

Maybe suggest something similar to ngeru?

I've got it!!! Breast milk all the nutrients LDR could need :p :D

Sorry ngeru :)
Thanks guys... but there's really no need as I've now got him eating baby food lol. :D

I can cook fine. ;)

It's just when my jaw is throbbing with pain, I just don't fancy cooking. Something quick and easy is much more appealing.

just buy a magic wand and whizz everything

Yep! Best idea!

I work in a school where a lot of the kids cant eat solid food and we wizz up all the things they like but cant have!

Bit of gravy or sauce of somekind so its not too thick!
