i had a fab discussion with someone over the origin of c*nt as a word (starring it cos i'm at work)...
apparently (and i've never actually chased this up further), there's a theory that...

the word 'c*nt' is derived from 'cunny', which is in turn derived from 'coney', meaning 'rabbit'.

something to do with the silky strokey insidey bits of bunny ears resembling ladybits

there's also a few other theories about it's root relating to churches, rivers or cunning
