Florida's new "Shoot to kill"

There was a 15x3 ad in the Guardian on Saturday from a group called The Brady Campaign/ www.shootfirstlaw.org warning potential holidaymakers about the change in the law...

Yes, noted that. Came across as a bit sensationalist,as if they thought they were pitching to a US audience.

Hmm, can't say I agree since I don't think it's possible to sensationalise this issue - in and of itself it's a 'sensational' piece of news ITSWIM?

Will be interesting to see wat happens re: FCO guidelines in response to this and if it impacts on Florida holiday bookings (one of my clients is a Florida holiday specialist)

pbman springs to mind. :p
actually yes - in all seriousness.
what gets me about the US right is how anti-freedom they really are.
anti-freedom to consume drugs in one's own harm, without harm to others.
anti-free speech.
anti-freedom for gays.
anti-artistic freedom
anti-freedom for all the peole their govts have invaded or bombed.
in short, the only freedoms they truly care - deeply, passionately - about..are the freedoms to make money, and to agree with them.

Freedom appears to be limited to such things as gun ownership and the American Dream...and the freedom for criminals in government to act unimpeded.
