Flat hunting scam - can someone explain how it works?

I had one of these years ago, they seemed very keen for me to reveal stuff about how many siblings I had and other information. Like everyone else has said. String Em along for as long as you can really.

I had loads of these fake flat offers two years ago and posted here extensively on winding the cunts up. My fave tease was asking if the toilet was heavy duty.
