hello. The christian minority significantly featured in the middle and upper class of palestinian society, in other words Jeffro, they had economic means to leave the country. Where as the average dirt poor Palestinian had no choice but stay in the country or life in the camps - of course there is high emigration amongst all Palestinians, but not to the scale of the Christians as 84% have left the country. This leaving them as a very small part of the overall population.
