five fucking days!!!!

Working from home gives me that feeling of not really being at work. Today I am planning on doing all kinds of non work related things....like the little nap I just had when everyone else in the house had gone off to work. ;)

For the last couple of years I've been working 3 days a week in an office, which is quite a pleasant work/life balance.

I used to be full-time, but handed in my notice, my employers asked if I would stay on part time for a month or so, I said I would, but I wanted a slightly ridiculous hourly rate. Surprisingly, they agreed. That was two years ago, and I'm still here, still part time. Can't stand the job, but the fact I'm only here Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays pretty much makes up for it.

I've been doing some gardening and other cash in hand stuff to make up my earnings, but as long as I can pay the rent, the time is much more precious than cash. Might go and wander round a few galleries tomorrow, take some photos, generally arse about in London :)

I do hate the job though, so I'm thinking full-time-ness might be worth it if the thought of going into work didn't make me feel nauseous.

I work Mon-Fri, 1.30pm - 10pm..........

Have no choice but to work full time, how else do people pay their bills ?

I'd prefer to do an 8-6 four day week, but I've yet to come across an employer who offers it.
I used to do 8:30 - 6:45 Monday to Thursday, that was nightshift though. It was quite good finishing on Tuesday knowing you were halfway through the week

I work from 10 till anytime around 7:30 - 8:30, sometimes later, 5 days a week. And I'm expected to provide 24/7 emergency cover in case the servers go tits up.

And I only ever get paid for a 37.5 hour week......:(
