i thought my mum was the only one who refuses to believe in dressings (foreign that is) its salad cream or nothing! Answer to question, Mayo plenty of salt and pepper on white bread, fish fingers have to be Birdeye and a layer of cheese and onion crisps.

I voted tartare, because that's the ideal - but i have never in my whole adult life owned a jar of tartare sauce (or made any, obv) and therefore probably should have voted for the default oftion, which is ketchup.
Interestingly, tho i don't like salad cream (we upwardly mobiled as a family when i was a bit too young to have got into it), i can see why it would work here, due to its vinagrey-ness.
note - I can't spell vinagre / vinigre / vinaigre / vinigre - how perplexing.
