It's National Chip Week this week so I would recommend that course of action!

Who decided it was National Chip Week? And a whole week? Most things have just a national day.

National give PacificOcean money week ahoy!

I'd agree with that; chips cooked in beef dripping taste absolutely fantastic.....it's only apparently traditional north of the Humber

I believe most of the chippies in Cleethorpes used to fry in beef dripping but many have moved to oil now. The beef dripping taste really can't be beaten!

Scraps. Becoming harder to get.

When I was little, grown-ups got fish, chips and mushy peas, and kids got a bag of scraps and some peawet (the green juice, minus the peas!)

BATTER BITS!!!! Mmmmmmmmmm, takes me back to frosty mid wales nights on the way home from yoof club!. Small chips & batter bits pleeeeeeease :D the best 40p EVER spent!
