First use of a Roland 303 on a record?

Sure one of you geeks out there will know what it is?

I was just going through a load of old records over past few days and came across this -

- which i probably hadn't listened to for about 20 years and , and is basically an acid house track from 1984 (especially the 'megamix' B-side version)

To me it's more like punk/post-punk electro, and seems to have developed quite independently from acid house influences. By the time of it's release in 1984, Section 25 had a history of gigging, and in 1979-1980 had supported Joy Division & The Stranglers.

Megamix remix was by Bernard Sumner (Joy Division, New Order) and Donald Johnson (A Certain Ratio) and went on to be a club hit in the Big Apple. It was later sampled by Shamen (1992) and Orbital (1993).
