I've got a chilli plant plant with green chillies that apparently are meant to be red. But they only go red after i pull them off after waiting weeks and weeks for them to change colour...is that what they're meant to do?
they will go red on the plant but it means the production of flowers slows down (and hence less new chillis) so yes its best to take them off the plant when they've stopped growing to let them ripen
