Fingerless gloves Cool/Not Cool ?

I quite like the look of these:

Would be able to use the touch screen on things, camera etc (or pick nose if that's yer thing)

They're great as far as I'm concerned, I don't care if they're supposed to be cool or not.
I like them with a long sleeve part as they keep your wrists warm, if it's very cold I wear some ordinary gloves on top!
I'm a bit of a gloveaholic, here's a couple of mine...

I love 'em, apart from the depths of winter when I wear fully fingered gloves, I spend most of it wearing fingerless ones. At home too when it gets extra cold and I don't want to put heating on, I slap them on and I can still do stuff with my fingers.

Have about 5 pairs of them, two are synthetic and pretty thin though, as I wear them for running. (edit: I do realise this sounds surreal "you wears gloves for running????" )

Perfectly acceptable. Shorts, T-shirt, hat and gloves is all you need down to the minuses
