Finding your pet in unexpected places

my cat is always on her laptop...don't know how to links yet but shes the fluffy one..er on a laptop in my cat thread. Have practically given her one now so she won't sit on mine or my flatmates...she prefers mine though...and once, just once she went in her litter tray!
Nice and warm, innit?

My cats also prefer drinking water from the bathtub. It's been suggested to me that it's because the water has sat in the tank.

I don't have a wardrobe but one of those clotherails (sp?) in my bedroom.
One night, a few years ago, I was woken by a sound. Sat up straight; you know, the way it happens in films and you always think that that is not possible? My hair standing on end. Noise coming from the clotherail. And then the clothehangers did a mexican wave motion. Once forward. Once back. I'm sitting there all hot and cold, thinking: 'Jeeeeeeeez, this is proof. Ghosts exists.' And then the cat jumped down.
My friend's comment? "No wonder she was running very fast!"

Ive found my cat in the bathroom sink asleep a few times. I think that was because she had wandered in and the door closed behind her so she thought she may as well go to sleep!

One of our hamsters escaped once and ended up behind the worktop unit, we had to break it to get her out.

My hamster when I was a kid got stuck in the lining of the sofa. We had to cut it all open to get it out.

that'll be it..it's an old laptop we don't use anymore but when she sits on it, she turns it on (ooh er) and once amazingly entered the wrong password three times ...think she may have a secret blog..

Sparky was unhappy at having a thermometer shoved up his bum at the vets, so he shot up the back of the fitted cupboard units in the surgery, which had to be completely dismantled to get him out, with thermometer still in situ.
How long did it take to compose yourself from hysterical laughter? I keep bursting out laughing everytime I think of your story; and I wasn't even there. What a picture that must have been.

Lil was walking around on my bed today, I'd taken the sheets off to wash them and the pillows and duvet were in a pile on the bed. She started to investigate by walking into the folds of the duvet or under it etc and miaowing lots at the same time :D
Hehe, yeah, she always used to love getting into big bundles of stuff, especially crawling into the space between the duvet & sheet & sleeping there all day - I've accidentally sat on her so many times! Really quite cute though, when you can't find her & realise that she is the softly breathing lump in the duvet.

I've just moved out of a flat with 3 cats, the massive black pimp cat Spike, hyper teenaged mentalist Tiger and crosseyed old gal Felix... the 3 of them were always finding bizarre places to hide, including on top of the exposed beams of the flat, on the roof of the building, in the bath, in my cupboard. I miss them already :( .

Aww (((maestro))).

Mine seem to change their minds about their fave places every six weeks or so. Scratchy's favourite location is currently the sofa. Itchy NEVER goes on the sofa, unless there is a person on it. She has recently taken up sleeping behind the bedroom door - took me bloody ages to find her

One of our greyhounds, Loulou, took to lying in the paddling pool we used as a foot bath for the swimming pool when it was really hot:
