i dunno, i just think there's something inherently idiotic about writing off an entire decade of a genre's output - especially a decade as fruitful & creative as the 70s was for disco.

is isn't all gloria gaynor y'know...
 
never liked the smiths first time around, i was at uni, and the people who liked them seemed a bit miserable:D got around to liking them a few years ago

Smiths are great, comedy gold.

Genius, you can almost smell the BO of badly written teenage angst poetry. Utter piss take. Makes me laugh when critics think he was serious.

Obviously my comment was very sweeping, of course there are some songs and bands that I like from the 70s. Then again, I never did say that I didnt like anything from the 70s...

One of my all time favourites (the Average White Band) were about then.

Generally speaking, I prefer music from the 80s, and again, generally speaking, I dont like music from the 70s. :)
