Find me this dress pleeeease

You know what? I do have one pair of trousers that I don't loathe. I've just put them on. They're brown jeans, in essence, with white stitching. Wide, straight legs. Not the most shape-enhancing, but not terrible. And very comfortable. And the waistline fits and doesn't droop down or gap in the back.

I tried to find a measuring tape to see if my measurement estimates were accurate, but I couldn't find one.

Bring back the hourglass. I heard today that 'they' whoever 'they' is have decided that Marilyn Monroe would be considered fat by today's standards. She is my favourite sex symbol and was only a 12.

It is time the skinny fad disappeared. It is just a phase, check out all the famous paintings. It is a pity that all of they gay male dress designers are really designing a look for boys. Men like curvy women.

(puts stereotype back in box)

The skinny fad isn't about fashion, it's about feeding psychological control complexes, via size and shape, and exaggerating their importance.

I say all shapes and sizes and gorgeous is the person, whatever size, who is happy with it, and all clothes will look nice on them. :) as they are good lucking from the inside.
The first dress looks like a genuine 60's thing.
I remember in the eighties, wanting a boat neck top (sixties fashion) and could I hellers like find one.
why are all the models in the shops and magazines ugley bodys?

It was the "heroin chic" look that got me. Heroin is not chic! Looking like a fucking wreck is not chic!! Being emaciated is not chic!

btw, d - i see you in this - how far off am I?

oooh... i like that - where's it from?

Keithy you have a fantastic sexy body. Why not go for a dress showing off your tits, but looser fitting? Wear nothing at all underneath and let your partner find this out it will be a major turn on for both of you. There is something really sexy about a near naked woman in a public place and not being able to have her! Your partner will want you so badly, and when you do, just lift the dress...!!!

Blimey!

What if it's for a work do though? :hmm:

Cor that's gorgeous............is that american sizes ? can't believe that 12 - 14 is counted as extra large ?????

Yes, American sizes. Regardless, not sure if a 12 is "extra large" even in America

I wear a 4 or 6 (US) usually, fwiw.

Wow! There has been some lovely stuff posted on here.

Oh and in reference to Marilyn Monroe, she was a 12 but that was a long time ago.
I have some of my nans jackets from the 50's 60's and they are labeled at a 16 most of them and they only just fit me and I am a 12.

Ms Monroe would probably have been at least a 16 by todays sizes and probably an 18 by topshop sizes, well if they even did proper sized clothing that is.
I struggle to get in to some of their 14 sized trousers and I am not anything bigger anywhere else.
