You're basically looking for a two man tent with a stand up porch. It would have to be small but tall. Ime the best festival tents are 2/3 person jobs with an inner tent & a porch that doesn't have a built in groundsheet. You won't be standing up in it but you can take your boots/clothes off undercover and get in your bedroom with the minimum of shit transferral occurring.I didn't have you pegged down as a punsterThe best sex I've ever had has been under canvas.

Fez909 is absolutely correct, sparklefish. The tent you're looking for doesn't existYou're basically looking for a two man tent with a stand up porch. It would have to be small but tall. Ooh, that looks good. Cheap too, thanks.
Mr s found this one.
Regatta Premium 2 Man Weekend Tent with Carpet.

Looks a bit odd and is more than £100 quid too. I'm really not sure I need carpet.
It's tempting for the height though. Hmmm
Oh yeah, so it does; sorry missed it. It does look odd though; too tall for it's size or somethingIt does, I've already posted it. I just don't want to spend that much!
I've had about a half a dozen snapped poles from wind over the last few years so I was thinking something lower and wider - more stable and windproof. My OH bears the brunt of it most of the timeI didn't have you pegged down as a punster![]()

It was in tents.

Go to another festival before and see what gets left?
In favour of stand up porches: I sneaked into someone's stand up porch when I was at Boomtown with the ex and we proceeded to cover the groundsheet in their porch with lady-juices. I'm massively in favour of these porches now, and think every tent should have one. My knickers were so wet I had to chuck them away.![]()
I'll stick to buying a tent not relying on tatting one ta.

I got a red 3-man Quechua last fessie, next time I hope to upgrade to one with side vents. If you learn the secret art of folding up a pop-up tent the world will be your slightly grizzled looking mollusc as many are left behind due to lack of skill with putting them down.Actually she does have a point in that a lot of tents are left behind at the end, many of them brand new. I have a particularly lazy friend who buys a new one for each festival because he can't be bothered to carry it back to the cars.

People who dump perfectly good tents and other stuff are dicks.
You'll get no arguments from me on that one.
Anyway back to the tent search, I've had a dig around and it is quite an unusual style you're after, apart from the one you found on Argos there is this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gelert-Caba...&qid=1395225389&sr=8-147&keywords=tents+2+man
Its a bit cheaper, but still not cheap per se. The porch looks a bit shit as well.

Ooh the Ark has a Gothic Arch......![]()

I think the Ark is the new version of the tent we were using last year if you remember it? It's a nice size for 2 and would be loads of space for just you. You can't quite stand up but it's still pretty roomy. They all look fine though.
I just went to look at the Ark at Go Outdoors, it was very low and I had to get out.
I can't remember how tall your tent was last year. Everything looks small against ours but I don't remember it being that low.

It is a fair bit lower - we've got another tent more like the size of your one but we tend to use that for proper camping rather than festivals.hate to say it but i think the small footprint/full head height is just an unnatural shape for a tent, unless you get a kitchen/loo tent :ducks:
I don't even need full head height, just not a nylon coffin. Oh dearIt is a fair bit lower - we've got another tent more like the size of your one but we tend to use that for proper camping rather than festivals.
I quite like the aura
