Films worth watching again

Brian Glover epitomised the male 'games' teacher of that era. My brother went through brutal realms of shite at the hands of a games teacher exactly like that...with the unfortunate name of Mr Crapper :D Our Lee didn't like football, and by the christ he paid for it

:D Great name :D

The Departed

I rewatched that last weekend, definitely a good second time rounder. All my others have been mentioned too. Big Lebowski, Memento, Donnie Darko, Dead Mans Shoes.

Shaun of the Dead and School of Rock are my kids most watched films by far.

That remake has been in the pipeline for at least a decade now. In a way Crichton already reworked the premise already with Jurassic Park.

At least tell me why you think I should watch it...

Oh, right, sorry. Cos it's a well-rendered adventure with some clever touches, great design, fun numbers, and the witch and her accomplices provide genuine menace.
It's an Alice-in-Wonderland, Spirited Away, Northern Lights style adventure, and a technicolour breakthrough film.
It's a little bit gooey (as in camp, or sentimental) but it has real pathos, lucid dreaminess, and a romantic outlook that will warm the darkest cynic.
So... follow the yellow brick road :).
