Films worth watching again

Memento

Always worth another view to see if you can piece things together any better ...

Keep an eye on Teddy's number plate :)

I hated it the first time I saw it, but it's really grown on me...

Likewise, I first thought it was a bit of a disapoointment after the first two movies, but it's really just alot more character driven, and the atmospherics are still superb. Repeated viewings of Alien 4 make me feel bilious.

I watch quite a lot of films many times....

Lord of the Rings trilogy
The Princess Bride
V for Vendetta
Bladerunner

There are many more but these seem to be the most watched

Fallen, Pan's Labyrinth, Donnie Darko, Empire of the Sun - I could probably watch these films endlessly.

personally i find any film worth watching is worth watching twice

same with books ... i fact once to clear out books i threw away everything i hadn't reads at least 3 times

westworld

police academy VII

on each watching you're treated to a new undiscovered treat, a comic nuance you missed first time round, it really is an untapped treasure trove of bellyaches.

This. Also Harold and Maude, The naked civil servant, Kes, 24 hour party people, Goodfellas, Midnight cowboy

Yes to all of those :D Kes was and is a fucking classic

And the Godfather, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Scarface. And the Great Rock n Roll Swindle - I think I knew the script backwards to that. Actually, I did to all the ones I've mentioned

I think the naked civil servant is the film i quote most from..."I am an effeminate homosexual for all the world to see!" :D. John hurt was excellent

Kes is just a classic. Love Ken Loach, he's up there with Mike Leigh. Brian Glover played a great part as the PE teacher in Kes

Brian Glover epitomised the male 'games' teacher of that era. My brother went through brutal realms of shite at the hands of a games teacher exactly like that...with the unfortunate name of Mr Crapper :D Our Lee didn't like football, and by the christ he paid for it
