Film that you think are shit that everyone else loves

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's amusing enough, but where's the plot? Much the same could be said for the book, on which I regret having expended the energy even to turn the pages. It was dull as ditchwater after the first couple of chapters.

You found the book boring? Film is a bit iffy I must say but the book is excellent, basically a journalist trying to find the American Dream by taking mind altering drugs and in the process making functional society look like the one's on drugs.

I went on to have something like a 20,000 point dwarf army (alongside several bloodbowl teams, a terminator librarian army, and an Epic Eldar army) though, so something went right. I also owned every single Games Workshop paint colour and ink

I know that! And I still think it was complete bollocks. The book was marginally more interesting than the film, but that's not saying much at all.

2001; A Space Odyssey. I always fall asleep after 10 minutes. Always. I've tried, dog knows, I've tried :(

Oh, and Titanic

La Dolce Vita - hard and boring bloody work that was.

Big Lebowski - not as good as everyone thinks.

Apocolypse Now.

Oh man. Love that film. Can still feel the intensity of The Doors over the dropping over napalm :) (to the feeling mind, not the act of dropping napalm!)

I was so disappointed by it as a nipper - I was expecting there to be way more of the gold robot and the giant monkey/Yorkshire terrier, only to find they were sidelined for a sappy plot with this lame fella saving some princess - yuck!

I love this :D

It was because of the promotional posters that you thought C3PO was the main character wasn't it??

I hate it when that happens - like Julia Roberts wearing a different dress on the posters for Pretty Woman
