Absolutely beautiful - hopefully the whole house will come down and Blatter will finally get done.

Wonder if this puts the Qatar WC in doubt?

With luck something similar will happen in F1 to sort out the mess that it is in.

You'd think being a FIFA member with all the trappings of a millionaire lifestyle, worldwide first class travel, five star hotels and VIP access to every football tournament would be enough of a kickback.

    Two things puzzle me.

The arrests seem to be exclusively Central and South American officials so far (no Europeans...)

They are being taken to the USA.

  26. Maurice Picarda

Maurice Picarda Actually, might as well flounce.

US banks involved, sponsorship deals and TV rights deals done under US law, largest TV audience for World Cup, relevant meetings held in the US - it looks weird at first sight, but actually makes sense.

8den No I'm pretty sure that was 8ball...

Chuck Blazer the morbidly obese former FIFA head of the Americans got collared in the US over his tax bill. Hes turned supergrass apparently. So that's why the investigation has started there.

Chuck at one point had FIFA footing the bill for a 8k a month apartment New York solely used by his cats.

You have to admire the sheer balls of FIFA, carrying on that everything is fine and that they welcome the FBI investigation.
