Have you actually seen this auto-reformatting happening or is this what their guy is telling you is occurring?

Hardly - that doesn't offer auto-complete tags, code validation and link checks, global search and replace functionality, projects, macros, code snippets etc etc....

Editplus doesn't do most of that either, but still rocks.

It can do macros/code snippets etc though. After a fashion. It's also got the best search and replace capability that I've ever seen.

And it costs about 30$. And when you have a query, you get to talk to the guy who actually wrote it.
